Data processing
Condition the record first. Extract the parameter second.
Processing is two stages. Conditioning makes the record trustworthy. Extraction reads the parameter from that conditioned record. The stages stay separate so either can change without hiding the other.
Conditioning
- Scaling from probe, shunt, and fixture factors captured with the setup.
- Trimming points the instrument marked as invalid, such as compliance or settling.
- Transformations the recipe declares for that measurement.
- Separating branches when the sweep has more than one direction.
Extraction
Extraction applies the recipe for the measurement you configured. The parameter, the conditions, and the method version are written together. Raw and conditioned views stay available for every record.
A missing scale factor or a missing required condition blocks the result. The recipe does not guess the setup.
