Getting started
Your first report
Connect a station, design a short flow, and issue one section.
A first run needs a station, a flow, and a configuration. Connect the instruments, or import a file when the curve already exists. Name the measurements, the conditions, and the method. char.io runs the flow, processes the records, and generates the report.
A flow, in order
| Step | You set | char.io produces |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Station and settings | A settings snapshot stored with the run |
| 02 | Measurements and conditions | A flow that can run on that station |
| 03 | Method and standard | A versioned recipe for the extraction |
| 04 | Devices to compare | One comparison under that method |
| 05 | Reviewer | An issued report that stays frozen |
What you issue
The issued report is a new document version. Each value cites its raw record, its conditions, and its method version. A later method produces a new analysis beside it. The issued page stays as it was issued.
A result whose recorded conditions do not match the row stays empty. The missing condition is named on the result.
