Test flow
Design the sequence and the configuration. char.io runs both.
The sequence is the test flow: ordered measurements and the configuration that runs them. The structure is devices, measurements, and conditions. Either design connects to the instruments, runs, processes the records, and fills the same report.
Two ways to design it

Configuration
Configuration is the instrument settings, the condition set, and the method version for that flow. It travels with the run. A later edit is a new configuration, not a silent change to a run that already finished.
